I need to figure out how to make the sister sheet to pull the data once a week from the form responses,
only pulling the responses the schedule activity for the coming week - that is the DAY OF SUPPORT column. (in date order)
"Weeks" open on Monday and close on Friday.
Not all data is needed - like we don't need the timestamp, for example.
That would solve so many problems that it is almost too good to be true that it could happen!
Gratefully,
Syndy

  1. Hi, and thank you,
This looks like it will work well. It will take me a bit of time time to completely figure out and set it up because of my limited skills, but I am sure it will be valuable and thank you.

The sister sheet needs to show these cells (these are the column headers):
Week of Support: (at top like you have it above)

    Column headers across:
    Day, Time of Support:
DA Region V Team Member providing support: Staff member(s) receiving support:
    Subject Area of Support:
Focus of Support (from Action Plan, SIP, etc.):
    Support Activity / Activities:

The "Week of Support" is the critical variable. Anything entered for the coming "Week of Support" has to be reported out by a deadline of the prior week - in some cases by Friday a.m., in some cases by Saturday a.m.

How can I fix the form of selection for the form for week of support...and for day of support?

Thanks for the suggestion about the form entry.

    Details:
For WEEK OF SUPPORT, they need to select from Mondays, so I had a little time then and I entered all the Mondays for the school year.

For DAY OF SUPPORT, we need the date, (could be any day during the week, but we need the actual date to appear, not just "Monday" in fact, "Monday" etc. is optional - the critical info is the eact date, and they need the option to add "(a.m.)" or "(p.m.)" in case they plan a partial day, in the same cell.

I couldn't make it an auto(dropdown) choice to prevent users typing in/making errors for teh DAY OF SUPPORT because I don't have time to enter every possible date and don't know how to have the optional "(a.m.)" or "(p.m.)" added to the same cell- I couldn't add another item and bunch up the spreadsheet even more.

    Thanks again for your help!!!
    This is lifesaving and facesaving!

  2. Hi Syndy:

Displaying more columns is no problem ... we just need to add the corresponding column letter in the QUERY function.

In regard to AM and PM, the way I understand is that if a day/date has AM with it, the associated activity is in the morning half of the day only, and in case of PM, in the afternoon half only ... so I don't see any problem with that.

If you need further help with this, update the Form as you would like to make the entries, and also show me what fields you want to display in the SisterSheet.

    Cheers!
