Is there a way to have multiple data validation rules or to mimic "List from a range?"

I'm currently using the "List from a range" option to validate a column. However, there's one valid string that isn't in that range, and adding it to that range would disrupt the flow.

Is there a way to setup multiple validation rules? If not, is there a way to mimic "List from a range" in "Custom formula is?"
