Sheets Old format Charts dynamic range seems to be not possible?
Since I can not create a sheets template using the 'New' format, my chart is in the 'old' format.
I can not use the 'New' format because I need to post a template.

I have a pivot table with 3 columns:
     A                  B                   C
7)   Account        Actual              Budget

There are 35 Account rows

The range for my bar chart is A7:C42 .
This works.  However, my users may have more or fewer than 35 rows.
Easy right?  Just designate the range as A7:C .  Or use A7:C95.

Nope.  This 'squishes' all the Accounts on the Y axis together into an unreadable mess or Sheets just refuses to recognize the range.

And Charts does not seem to accept range names or formulas.

Since Google, for 7 months,  has failed to address the consequences of their 'NEW' format and it's incompatibility with template creations I hope a more experienced user than myself knows how to get around the problem.

Thanks for your thoughts.
